European Championships of Cross-Country Skiing Marathons

February 17th 2013                    42 km FT

Individual results men        additional age group results (Jun, H21, H31, H36, H41, etc.)

Championship Valuation:                          
 
The times of both races will be added.
(= valuation European Championships of Cross-Country Skiing Marathons)

Each participant who registers in time for the European Championships of Cross-Country Skiing Marathons and absolves both valued races will be listed in the ranking (Age Group ranking and overall ranking).

 

Conditions for participation/ license

Eligible is every person who has a valid license
(Euroloppet Passport = License, valid for 10 years) and is 18 or older on January 1st in the year of the event. Continental limits are invalid.

           

Awarding of the European Championships: 

 

"European Champion of Cross-Country Skiing Marathons 2013"
Precondition is, that at least 20 women/ men are in the overall ranking.

 

"European Team-Champion of Cross-Country Skiing Marathons 2013"
Precondition is, that at least 6 teams are in the ranking.

 

Awarding in age groups:
Awarding example:
“European Champion of Cross-Country Skiing Marathons – winner of the age group H 46 “.
Each age group (5 year graduation) is honored with the places 1-3.

Online registration with credit card payment: until Tuesday, February 12th 2013 at www.skimarathon.eu          
The registration is only valid after payment.

Late registration at the Gsieser Tal Lauf is possible until February 15th 2013.

Runners who are born in 1994 or earlier are qualified. (wiht license N° - Euroloppet Passport N°)

 

Starting fee for the European Championships: Women/ men 73.- € (for 2 races)

(The registration is also valid for the ranking 30 km CT and 42 km FT of the Gsieser Tal Lauf. The participants of the European Championships get all services of the normal race next to the services of the European Championships.)

European Team Championships                                                                        

At the European Championships of Cross-country Skiing Marathons, the title "European Team Champion of Cross-country Skiing Marathons" will be assigned.

The Team registration is for free!

A team consists of 4 persons, whereas the best 3 runners at every valued race are evaluated with their best time of the team.

Both team times are added for the final result.

The Team runners will also be automatically registered for the individual valuation at the Team registration.
(No individual registration is necessary!)

Teams can be registered as teams of a company, a club or as a free team
(max. 2 main sponsors in the name of the team).
There is no limitation of nationality for the team members.

If already registered individual runners want to take part as a team, please send an e-Mail with the names and year of birth to info@euroloppet.com until the official end of registration.

Liabilities:

The respective conditions of participation and liability of the respective race are valid. The European Union of Cross-Country Skiing Marathons and the organizer do not assume liability for accidents and damages for participants, functionaries and spectators. With the registration the participant agrees to make a physical examination before the particular start which gives him an authorization to start in healthy conditions. The certificate has to be presented in English and German language on demand of the race manager.

The valued races are held in accordance with the International Competition Rules (ICR) and under inspection of a FIS TD.
